Ability and experience to understand the business process and business flows to configure / tailor the software to execute the business process. These resources will work with the business subject matter experts and the technical experts to automate business processes / flows. Strong functional understanding of PeopleSoft Applications in *NA Payroll and Time and Labor* A leading contributor individually and as a team member, the Engineer's work is non-routine, very complex and involves the application of advanced technical/business skills in different areas of specialization. Because of substantial customer interfacing, you must have a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the absolute highest levels of customer satisfaction. The position requires 24 x 7 off-hours pager support, currently on a rotational basis RESPONSIBILITIES: · Interpret requirements data, map current and future state business processes to the packaged application(s) being implemented, and develop plans to address functional gaps between the packaged application and the redesigned processes. · Develop a depth of implementation experience to address multiple integration points between functions, related interface and data conversion issues, and expanded setup and configuration requirements. · Translate customer needs and business requirements into features, functions, products and services deliverable through the PeopleSoft technology. Interact with the business units to describe and demonstrate system functionality and to design applicable customized solutions · Ability to recommend best practices in Application Configuration · Assist in creating functional and business requirements documents · Collaborating with technical developers to designing work modules in conjunction with functional specifications · Configuration and set-up relevant to the PeopleSoft module(s)/processes · Assist in developing test strategies, test plans and test scripts · Conducting / participating in end to end system testing and coordinating with development teams to fix bugs. · Peer review of documentation. *Desirable qualifications and experience:* Competencies / Required Skills: *Technical:* · Understanding of core tables of North American Payroll & Time and Labor · Hands-on functional and configuration knowledge to address business rules, setup tables and security requirements in PeopleSoft HCM modules North American Payroll & Time and Labor · Recent experience must include either full life cycle implementation or upgrade experience with version 8.9 or above. · Experience in assisting in creation of functional and business requirements, design documents, security design, training materials, test scripts, etc. · Solid understanding of integration points with other PeopleSoft HCM modules. · Query writing skills and baseline technical PeopleTools experience. · Ability to interact effectively with non-technical, functional user community and resolve data and application issues · Analytical/troubleshooting skills and production support experience. · Knowledge of integrated third party applications or service providers *Professional:* · Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment. · Highly motivated self starter: Persists in the face of obstacles; demonstrates initiative and sets high personal standards for performance; maintains a consistently high level of productivity · Strong communication and technical writing skills · Seeks to creatively and collaboratively develop win-win solutions with customers · Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action · Works collaboratively with others to achieve group and business goals · Thinks “outside the box” to generate fresh ideas/approaches Experience: · 3+ years should be PeopleSoft functional experience; including hands-on experience implementing/developing/supporting/troubleshooting the HCM Applications · Staffing Industry experience is a plus Educational Requirements: · Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience. * * *Rekha* *Technical Recruiter*** *Computer Experts Inc* *Ph: 703-889-8323 * 105* *Fax: 805-435-1685* *[email protected]* *www.ctexperts.net* YM :[email protected] [email protected] --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oracleguru" group.
