Looking for SAP user skills (productive), audit or related (understanding the control environment) background, accounting degree, professional with good work ethics. *NOT*looking for IT Controls experience. * * *FYI:* This manager is *extremely picky* and resume formatting/errors paints a picture of the candidate for this manager. Monitor controls of SAP VIRSA, SOX, and work with business teams on SAP controls. 2 yrs exp., audit exp., communications skills, analytical skills. BBA, CPA (or part of exam passed). *Qualifications that a candidate must possess:* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems or related fields Approximately 2 years of high-quality experience is expected. 2 yrs exp., audit exp., communications skills, analytical skills. BBA, CPA (or part of exam passed). Understands generally accepted accounting and auditing principles, financial reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Effectively communicate issues and recommendations. Excellent interpersonal skills with business process teams. Effective conflict resolution skills Excellent compliance analytical and problem-solving skills * * *Qualifications that are desired of a candidate:* Public Accounting experience is a plus. Professional Certification is a very strong plus (e.g., CPA (or passed part of the exam) or CIA). Work with a SAP manufacturing and distribution system is very helpful. Knowledge of segregation of duties issues is very helpful. Good PC and computer technology skills preferred. Should be able to use standard business software programs (Microsoft Word, Visio and Excel) Language skills would be helpful. * * *Position Purpose:* Monitor the status and progress of controls and controls testing during the development of the SAP functionality in accordance with the leading practices. Monitor controls of SAP VIRSA, SOX, and work with business teams on SAP controls. Evaluate SAP financial reporting controls to ensure client is addressing the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act. Make recommendations to help to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all process controls, add value to client. Participate in special projects as needed. *Essential Position Functions:* Identify and assess business risks, controls, and issues; collect, review, analyze, test and verify SAP related evidence; document procedures and tests of controls. Analyze business process flowcharts and other documents, as necessary. Provide technical skills and assistance to process team members. Work under general supervision individually, or within a team based environment.
