Location - Portland, OR Duration - 2-3 months + (Very high possibilities of extensions) *Cognos Report developer will be involved in one project to migrate 6 cognos reports over to a new database model. * Required Skills - *************** cognos Powerplay, Cognos Impromptu, Crystal Reports, SQL server, Datawarehousing, Informatica **************************** The following work will be included: **************************** 1) Reviewing technical specifications created for this migration. 2) Pull in new database views into Framework Manager and apply joins and parameter maps. 3) Report development in Report Studio to changed existing reports to use new query subjects from FM. 4) Some business logic changes may occur in a few of the query subjects. 5) Solid unit testing and troubleshooting abilities. 6) Create test data if needed. 7) Working on various supporting tools: vault, tracker, share point, ultra edit, vision apps. 6) Knowledge in Teradata Database,views, tables, sql performance tuning, indexing, partitions, statistics, parameter maps. 7) Solid knowledge in sql creation for reporting.
