Job Title: SENIOR ORACLE BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ARCHITECT Location: CHARLOTTE,NC rate: Open Duration: 1 year ** *Additional Information* Secondary Skills: Oracle # of Years Required: 4-6 *Job Purpose/ Description:* The Asset Management and Enterprise Services (AMES) group within the Technology and Operations Division provides technology services to Asset Management, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance and the Finance and Actuarial Divisions. Within AMES-IT resides the Application Architecture, Development and Integration (AADI) group. AADI provides a number of technology services: Centers of Excellence (COE) for reporting, ETL, BPM, SOA and Data Movement development; Application architecture and design, development governance, internal component support and development, release management and liaison to Core IT group regarding new technologies and support of existing ones. We are seeking candidates to fill a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Architect position that will specialize in architecture and implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). The successful candidate should have the combination of education and experience that provides the basis for delivering the necessary job functions, skills, and knowledge as described in this job description. Tasks and Responsibilities: • Architecting and implementing high quality, Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions using company approved tools such as OBIEE. Must be aware of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs. • Define and govern BI application and data warehouse best practices and standards to include software development practices, design styles and software deployment. Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement. • Provide strategic direction to the organization by creating reference architectures and defining governance for the overall BI deployment strategy. • Participate in architectural reviews and provide guidance on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. • Serve as a subject matter expert for OBIEE+, demonstrating expertise in Oracle BI Server, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, Oracle BI Publisher, and OBIEE Performance tuning of the BI applications. • Work collaboratively with technical staff, and business experts to develop solutions to business requirements and client problems. • Mentor other team members on new and existing technologies and help guide the Business Intelligence development process. Required education/experience: • A minimum of 10 years experience providing Business Intelligence architecture/administration/development in a Fortune 500 company. • 5+ years of experience with BI Architecture, Dimensional Modeling & Data Warehousing • 3+ years of experience with OBIEE 10.x (Siebel Analytics 7.x) • Strong experience with Oracle database • Experience with SOA Architectures is a BIG plus • B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or Electrical Engineering or a related quantitative discipline. • Graduate degree in Business, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline is a BIG plus. • Personal skills: Possess a strong work ethic, self-starter, creative, a focus on customer service, possess a high level of energy, enthusiasm, have strong oral and written communication and people skills, team player, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task, commitment and appreciate the application of technology in support of our business. -- Thanks & Regards, Abhi a...@cigniti.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
