*Prefer local candidates with state government experience* but will consider
nonlocal and those who don’t have state government experience. I can only
submit 3 candidates so I need your most qualified consultant.



·         The SAP ABAP Consultant to work under the leadership of the
Enterprise Document Management team.



·         This candidate *will work closely with the SAP Basis Team*, and
the *Technical Services team* as well as coordinating with the hosting
company.



*DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:*

* *

• Developing a detailed project plan with all task and milestones for the
Archive Server upgrade project (Including: hardware plans, software plans,
database plans (migrations, cleansing, etc.) staged environments
(development; test; & production).

• Utilizing the "parallel build" strategic approach identified by NCDOT

• Coordinate with Tech Services on the upgrade of the needed scan clients
and field testing prior to completing the upgrade of the archive server

• Provide training, knowledge transfer and provide all technical documents
to NCDOT staff throughout the contract period

• Perform all needed project management activities, status, reports

• Document all work efforts, which may include an architectural approach and
provide these deliverables to the IT Manager

• Perform application development and maintenance activities throughout the
life of this engagement.

• Create ABAP programs and functional modules

• Create and change SAP Business Objects

• Create new solutions in Doculink using standard and expert modes and
configuring Doculink projects

• Set up new projects, views, modes, attribute objects and user exits

• Utilization of Microsoft Access (tables, queries, and VBA coding)

• Access with some of the Doculink solutions to build data for importing
into SAP tables.

*Livelink archive server cold and external R/3 pipeline development skills.*



*Hands-on Working Knowledge Of:*

*• SAP configuration*

*• SAP data archiving*

*• IXOS Doculink*

*• Livelink Viewer and Livelink scan client configuration*

*• SAP/ABAP Programming*

*• SAP Business Objects*



*Understanding of how SAP Business Objects relate to IXOS document
archiving,*



*Experience in all the following:*

* *

*• Reading, changing, and creating ABAP programs and function modules*

*• Creating/changing SAP Business Objects*

*• Creating new solutions in Doculink using standard and expert modes*

*• Configuring Doculink projects*

*• Setting up Projects, Views, Nodes (understand different node types)*

*• Attribute Objects, and User Exits*

*• Microsoft Products - Microsoft Access (Understand how to use Tables,
Queries, and VBA coding)*

*• SAP tables (especially TOA01)*

*• Configuration transactions (OAC0, OAC2, OAC3, SOA0, OAWS)*

*• With various NCDOT SAP modules (ex. PS, FI, etc).*



*General Understanding Of:*

• Methods of archiving and linking documents in SAP (OAWD & Services for
Objects (GOS - Generic, Object Services)



Software support and troubleshooting skills with the following:

• Enterprise Scan

• IXOS viewer and scanner support.
