Role: *Sr. Storage Ops Specialist*
*Purpose:* Spoke with the customer and here is the scope they are ideally
looking for. Need someone onsite by as early as next week if possible. They
need someone to come onsite and do a full Knowledge Transfer on their backup
environment, document it, and to optimize it. They have a backup
environment that they don't have a good understanding of and recently lost
their Networker Admin.
*Their environment includes:*
Networker NDMP Backups for a Netapp NAS Environment & Modules for SQL /
Exchange / Oracle. The
customer has a newly installed Data Domain 690 & an Overland Tape Library. The
clients are all Vmware
servers. For their SAN environment they have Cisco & Nexus Switches with CX
Storage. They also have 1 Centera.
Need someone with a strong backup skills to provide good knowledge transfer,
documentation of the
Customer’s environment, and to help improve performance.
This role could very likely run longer than 2 months. We have an
expectation of 1-2 months to start and
