One is here in Manhattan for $45/hr and one is $45/hr in Chicago, but the description is exactly the same for both and *they have to be local *to whichever they are being submitted to for the face-to-face interview Must-haves • 5+ years of professional experience with the Java platform including previous experience as Technical Lead/Architect (30% architecture/70% development). • Experience with interfacing with teams (development, business analysis) located in other regions. Very strong autonomy required. • 5+ years of design, analysis (experience conceptualizing and maneuvering through cascading dependencies) and application support experience. • 5 years of experience with relational databases including *Oracle, SQL*Server. • Experience with Messaging protocol (*JMS*) and products such as IBM MQ Series, *AMQP*. • 3 years of *UNIX/Windows* experience including basic administration skills. • Strong autonomy. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, mathematics, statics or equivalent * * Plusses • 2+ year of Project management experience (ability to provide work estimates and schedule tasks plan accordingly). • Experience with on the Java Spring framework: Core Spring 2.0, Spring 3.0, Spring JMS, Spring Integration, Spring MVC, Spring DAO, Aspect programming, Hibernate. • Experience with software products for financial services • Financial industry experience * * Day-to-Day The main responsibility of the Senior Java developer is designing and implanting real-time financial solutions for data integration using primarily the *Java Spring* 3.0 framework, and AJAX based technology for *UI development (JQuery, Dojo, Hibernate)*. Handle development tasks using the *Java Spring framework + AJAX*.
