I am in need of an Oracle Developer to start ASAP (possibly this week)!!! I have pasted the job details below and need submissions as soon possible. There will be a phone and an onsite interview, *so consultants would need to be within a 4-5 hour drive of Nashville*. This position is slated for 3-6 months, but is likely to extend since this client is extremely busy. Targetted pay rate is $45 / hr and we may be able to negotiate with someone who is a PERFECT match to the details and is located closer to TN. Senior Oracle Developer will be responsible for database architecture, data modeling, design and development in Oracle technologies. The position is in the Cash Management Systems team. This developer will be expected to guide and mentor other database developers. This role is less of a DBA and more of a developer role. - Expert in writing SQL statements - Expert experience with Collections - Expert with SQL Loader - Expert with performance tuning Job Description Application architecture and design. Data modeling. Development of Stored procedures, Triggers, PL/SQL programs. Work on application development projects as well as enhancements and maintenance of existing applications. Qualifications *- 10+ years of Oracle Database design and development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience*. - Experience in designing and developing high volume transaction based systems. - Highly skilled in database design and modeling / table layouts. - Highly skilled in SQL, PL/SQL development, Stored procedures and triggers. Experience using bulk processing, ETL operations, REF cursors, collections, DBMS packages. - Highly skilled in performance tuning: analyzing query plans and query tuning, partitioning, optimizer hints. - Experience with SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, Data Pump, Exp/Imp, TKPROF, Oracle scheduler, Advanced Queues, Object management. - Proficient in PL/SQL Developer, Toad, Erwin, Version Control tools. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good interpersonal skills. Desired skills - XML, UNIX scripting experience.
