Looking for a Senior C# WPF UI/UX developer for a contract position in New York, NY. Reporting in to the Project Manager in the group, the candidate will participate in all stages of the development process – requirements gathering, specification, implementation, testing and deployment either alone or with other members of the team. Development within Prime Services is based on a horizontal model rather than silo-ed application teams. Therefore the successful applicant will form the basis of the Presentation horizontal team. The intention of this team is to represent risk and margin data to all users in a modern, clean, responsive UI. Development will focus around composite UI application development but may encompass all forms of UI development and reporting including web development. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a framework on which future development will be based. Requirements are driven by a demanding user base who expect relatively short release cycles and a high level of commitment and initiative from the development team. The development team uses an Agile (Scrum) approach to project lifecycles, so teamwork and communication skills are essential. *Required Skills * Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an IT or financial discipline. Investment banking experience essential Very strong UI Development skills in a Financial context (charts, drilldowns, explains) Strong Expertise in Composite UI Framework and Module Development WPF, Prism 4, XBAP, Web, MEF, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> User Experience (UX) development. HCI principles Familiar with MVVM design patterns Experience with various WPF UI Toolkits (RADControls, Infragistics, Xceed, etc) *Preferred Skills * Mathematical or Computer Science or Financial related subject, but all disciplines considered.
