INITRD creation and usage mkinitrd command 5. Install RPMs. 6. Install drivers from source. 7. Configure multipath drivers Device mapper, Secure path. 8. Install failover drivers Qlogic, emulex. 9. Knowledge on block devices, partitioning and FS creation. 10. Debug problems related to disk or storage. 11. knowledge on Administering, maintaining Linux, Solaris machines. Storage 1. Expertise in Storage domain. 2. Hands on exposure in setting up, configuring and debugging storage products. 3. Ability to setup and configure a complex SAN from Scratch. 4. Multipath, Clustering, High Availability 5. Storage Protocols SCSI, FC, iSCSI, SAS, FCoE. 6. FC Switch Configuration 7. Advanced Switch, Fabric concepts 8. Advanced hands on experience on Storage 9. Exposure to HP Storage Products XP, EVA, MSA, SVSP, Lefthand, 3PAR etc 10. Any Industry standard certification SNIA, CCNA etc 11.
