The PeopleSoft Developer will support PeopleSoft financial applications running in an Oracle RDBMS, UNIX/Linux, and Windows NT environment. The developer is responsible for full system life cycle support of PeopleSoft Financials (GL, AP, PO, AR, AM), including system analysis, programming, testing, and production support. This person will work with the PeopleSoft SA/DBA on performance tuning, enhancements, maintenance patches, and production support. Will interface with functional analysts as well as with technical resources. *Specific Responsibilities:* * Responsible for support, upgrades, and development in PeopleSoft Financials modules, databases, and environments. * Utilize standard development, testing, migration, and support processes and practices to ensure successful PeopleSoft implementations. * Identify gaps between business requirements and the delivered PeopleSoft Financials Application. Propose approaches, solutions, and estimates for closing gaps via process re-design or system functionality. * Identify problems and/or potential issues and formulate systemic solutions or propose business process alternatives to meet business requirements. * Work with functional analyst to develop and modify reports in a variety of PeopleSoft modules using SQR, Crystal Reporting, and queries * Provide proper documentation of application customizations, issues, fixes, and procedures for proper support and maintenance of the PeopleSoft Financials application. * Additionally: Partner effectively with PeopleSoft Functional Analysts, PeopleSoft SA/DBA, Unix systems administrators, Oracle DBAs, Windows server administrators, and network/storage administrators. Resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Follow standard PeopleSoft best practices relative to set up, migration, implementation, configuration, and changes.
