Title : Oracle DBA Location : Alpharetta, Georgia Duration : 6+ Month contract(possible perm after 1 year) RATE : $45 CORP TO CORP Must haves: 5+ years or Oracle DBA experience MySQL Linux (sentOS, RedHat) Shell Scripting SQL Plusses: Perl Sybase Requirement This person will be responsible for daily DBA responsibilities such as backup, restore, and troubleshooting trouble tickets that come in. In addition to daily DBA responsibilities, this person will be responsible for projects with different levels of engagement. They will manage customers/clients (internal users), manage and interface, as well as escalate issues to architects. This is not a lead position although we do need a candidate who is able to take initiative and someone who posses leadership characteristics. Obtaining this position will call for one weekly on call rotation out of an 11 person roster.
