Position: Sensor System Engineer with GIS expertise

Location: Burlington, Ma

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Sensors Systems Engineer



Join a multidisciplinary team of researchers investigating new technology
and techniques to support sensor systems operations.



The candidate will perform a variety of multi-INT, remote sensing data
collection, processing, and analysis research, primarily with EO,
multispectral, hyperspectral and Wide Area Persistent Surveillance (WAPS)
imagery; develop and execute algorithm performance assessments; and
integrate data from multiple sources to generate products. Perform remote
sensing research for government sponsors in a multi-discipline team
environment.


Desired Skills



• Broad scientific and technical background in remote sensing, geospatial
information systems, sensor systems, image science, image processing,
spectral phenomenology, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR)
and system engineering

• Experience with EO, multispectral, hyperspectral, WAPS, LIDAR, video,
Infra-red, RADAR, and MASINT data in the areas of target
detection/classification/identification, motion detection, change detection,
image geo-registration, and GMTI.



• ENVI, IMAGINE and ArcGIS software skills. Intelligence community
experience, MATLAB and IDL programming aptitude.

• Strong quantitative analysis skills; experience developing, testing, and
evaluating algorithms

• Ability to learn and execute established test procedures and to develop
new procedures

• Excellent writing and communication skills



• 2 -5 years of work experience



• BS in an relevant science
