Cognos Report Developer Location: NYC Duration: 6+ months Rate: $45-50/HR *Job Description* -This person will be responsible for analyzing business intelligence (BI) and reporting requirements, producing a range of reports, and developing value-add BI solutions. -The individual will have the opportunity to work directly with business personnel across the firm including Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Risk Management, and will gain exposure to a broad array of financial products, procedures, and alternative investment strategies and concepts. -Analyzing business intelligence (BI) and reporting requirements, producing a range of reports, and developing value-add BI solutions The ideal candidate would possess the following: · 4 - 5 years of IT experience · 1 - 2 years of experience in a financial services environment · Proficiency in Cognos Business Intelligence Suite · Proficiency in Cognos Report Studio · Proficiency in Cognos Query Studio · Proficiency in SQL Query Composition · Cognos Best Practices beneficial · Cognos Analysis Studio beneficial · Cognos Framework Manager beneficial · Cognos Server Administration & Tuning beneficial · Cognos Transformer and Cubes beneficial · Kimball Data Warehousing Methodology beneficial · Multidimensional modeling, OLAP concepts beneficial · Oracle Database Skills beneficial · Informatica or ETL skills beneficial · Strong written and verbal communication abilities, inter-personal skills, analytical proficiency, as well as professionalism are essential in this role -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
