Job Title: Performance Test Lead
Location: Tucson, AZ
Length: 3+ month Contract

Specific duties include:
  Developing technical performance test strategies for the performance
testing of client Financial System.
  Creating and executing the test plan and scripts based on functional use
cases and design specifications.
  Managing business system analysts, customers, client Financial System
technical support personnel, and the Infrastructure Team to execute against
the plan to meet goals & objectives.
  Analyzing load / stress test results and formally communicating
suggestions for tuning the OS, network, database, and application
parameters.
  Mentoring technical resources on resolving scripting issues and providing
guidance with test execution planning.
  Partnering with Infrastructure Team in the analysis of performance results
and logs.
  Conducting performance results reviews and the recommendation of tuning
opportunities.
  Assisting management in project planning with regard to performance
testing.

Special Qualifications and Required Skills:
  Leadership experience in a performance testing environment.
  Working knowledge of Oracle Application Testing Suite  specifically Oracle
Load Testing for Web Applications and OpenScript.
  Strong knowledge of performance bottlenecks and end-to-end web performance
measures (server response time, throughput, network latency, etc.)
  Ability to write clear, concise business-like communications delivering
project status and performance test results summaries
  Demonstrates an understanding of web protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, and
DNS and of networking and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, jsp,
asp, Flash, etc.
  Experience writing SQL queries supporting the automation of web and
back-end service tests.
  Detail oriented and the ability to troubleshoot issues in the load and
performance test environment.
  Highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks.
  Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members
and customers.
  Excellent critical thinking and problem solving abilities and ability to
quickly learn new tools & technologies.
  Experience working with management, systems developers, and users of
administrative information systems.
  Experience using software tools used in business systems such as Microsoft
Excel, Visio, Microsoft Word and MS Project.
  Ability to effectively communicate.
  Ability to write for variety of audiences.
