Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree and 7+ years
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Windows operating systems
analysis/ engineering.
6+ years of experience with deployment platforms such as
Jumpstart and Kickstart servers.
3+ years of experience with performance management using
tools such as BMC Patrol & Enterprise Performance Assurance. Capacity
planning skills with be a plus.
5+ years of experience with high-availability and
Disaster-Recovery using technologies such as Veritas Cluster Services, SRDF,
Timefinder/BCVs is a must.
2+ years of experience automating activities within
HPOVO/HPSA (OpsWare) and automated scripting.
This individual will perform administrative and planning
activities on all Windows servers OS environments including 2K/2k3/2k8. This
will include designing and documenting client solutions as well as providing
guidance and procedural direction.
Administration of the Windows environments including
validating environmental health and providing day-to-day support is a key
area of responsibility.
Proven experience in the design, setup, and configuration of
Windows Servers.
Demonstrated abilities in complex troubleshooting, high
availability systems and capacity planning in a production environment is
required.
Production experience with Windows 2003, 2008 server,
Microsoft Operations Manager, and SAN attached systems in an enterprise
environment required.
Experience with Clustering, VMWARE, Microsoft SQL, VERITAS
Storage Foundation, and NAS solutions is required.
Leadership skills which support innovation solutions with
matrixed teams.
The Wholesale Treasury environment requires versatility to
be successful in this position. Demonstrable versatility between the
technologies mentioned above will be a plus. Additionally, candidates with
versatility in the areas of Storage Management, Performance Management (or)
Database management will succeed in this position.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to understand the
business and the application. Candidates who have done work engineering
solutions for the business will be successful in this position.
Performance Management using tools such as BMC Enterprise
Performance Assurance, Storage Management in partnership with the Storage
team, Engineering new solutions and Patches in partnership with Engineering
organization are additional areas of responsibility.
Demonstrable leadership skills such as managing time,
managing meetings and verbal communication skills are a must.
