* * *Title: WebLogic Administrator* *Location: *St Louis MO *Duration:* 12 months *Description:* - Seeking a Senior level WebLogic Administrator/Engineer whose primary focus will be project delivery for our Research customers in support of our growing WebLogic infrastructure. - This individual will need to be well versed in all aspects of WebLogic engineering and operations including strong understanding of the underlying scripts and WebLogic Scripting tool. *Responsibilities:* • Overall planning, installation and setup of web environment. • Technical documentation of environment. • Training and transition to support teams. • Working with Architects, Engineers, application development and infrastructure teams to influence key decisions in effort to meet or support business needs and objectives. *Required Skills and Experience:* • 4 or more years WebLogic experience • 5 or more years experience working within infrastructure and web technologies. Need to demonstrate a strong understanding and working knowledge of integrating web technologies, networking, database applications and security. • 4 or more years Web Engineering and Administration experience in an Enterprise environment. • 4 or more years experience with Apache and/or IIS web servers. • 2 or more years experience with Unix and Linux. • Strong understanding and working knowledge of networking, DNS, load balancing, and J2EE. *Desired Experience/Other Requirements:* • Experience with Tomcat. • Java Development. • Experience with enterprise monitoring suites is a plus. • Must be able to successfully manage large enterprise projects. • Must have senior level problem solving skills. • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic. • Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment. • Must be self motivated, able to plan work effort and manage to schedule and priorities. • Must be flexible, adaptable, and available for support during non-standard hours. • Project Management experience.
