Job Tittle : Oracle Developer Location : Princeton, NJ Duration: 6-12 Months Contract Rate : DOE *Required Skills :* Three to four years industry experience; Understanding of various financial markets and products is a plus. Excellent understanding of relational databases and SQL; *Oracle PL/SQL, Unix Shell scripting is required; * *Working knowledge of BMC Control job scheduling software is a plus. * Responsible for coding, testing, and implementing applications and functionality based on a defined set of requirements. Must clearly understand requirements and ask appropriate questions to code to defined requirements. Responsible for ensuring the quality of their deliverables by defining and executing appropriate unit and system testing. Responsible for estimating coding, testing, and deployment efforts and providing them to project manager. Responsible for gaining a good understanding of the Caxton business processes and understanding what systems play a role in each step of the process. Responsible for exploring and recommending available tools for use in the development, testing, and deployment of applications. Responsible for making recommendations to improve the efficiency and performance of applications.
