*Front-End Web Developer* Duration: 6 months Location: Dublin, OH *Good comm skills required*** This is front end Web Page Development - HTML, CSS, Java Script, XML, Flash, some basic .net This position utilizes a strategic and highly creative approach to develop functionality to enhance Client’s marketing efforts and non-member web sites. Assist with the planning and production of marketing and website content for multiple products across all online media, including emails, up-sells and other web-based promotions. Assist with managing development, site design, implementation of member and non-member websites and be a big part in developing and integrating new emerging technologies into Client’s websites. *Responsibilities: * Design and Content • Create and maintain marketing and website content daily for our company non member marketing efforts and websites. • Utilize artistic flair to code breakthrough creative and marketing concepts. • Determine and achieve business requirements by working one-on-one with Software Development, Merchandising, Marketing, Legal, Creative, Product, and Management teams. • Investigate and apply new web-based technologies, methods and design solutions. Production and Development • Code HTML/XML pages for company marketing efforts and web sites, working closely with the Creative Director and Software Development. • Work with Software Development to design and implement site updates and enhancements, define the overall scope of projects, coordinate across departments to ensure successful delivery of the project. • Manage rollouts and major releases across development, staging and production systems, working closely with technical teams to monitor and troubleshoot the production system. • Test content across all browsers and versions to ensure pages load correctly and functionality works properly. • Daily updates to company marketing web sites. • Ensure all marketing efforts are at top performance and speed and ensure the user experience is always engaging and easy to use. • Stay up-to-date with the company sites restrictions and regulations. • UI development and deep skills in JavaScript/CSS/HTML that can optimize UI code for cross browser compatibility and performance. • Ability to integrate and extend company website functionality with new web technologies. *Requirements: * • Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences or related field. • Working knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, .NET, Flash and CSS 2.1 with strong PC experience, hand-coding skills, content management, SVN, and use of Include files is required. • Experience with developing and integrating client side web technologies to extend web site functionality. • 3 or more years experience with all aspects of web development; including strategy, design, functionality, and implementation is required. • Basic software development skills and experience with Adobe products. • Experience with emerging web technologies such as AJAX, JQuery, Cross Browser DOM and Adobe Flex/Flash. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional follow through is critical. • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with management, clients, and peers both verbally and in writing. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and complete work within specified deadlines. • Excellent attention to detail and accountability. • Demonstrated capability for problem solving and resolution. *Desired * • Formal training in graphic design with Photoshop/Fireworks or similar. • Previous experience with an e-commerce company. • Experience with WAP, iPhone and Smartphone development Thanks Harry Young, *732-734-4733* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
