6+ Months Max Rate $50/hour ETL / Informatica Developer This role is for an ETL/BO Developer in the Capital Markets IT team who will be supporting the Project White Label project a joint effort with the Investment Bank.. Individual must possess excellent Understanding of DW and BI data architectures and models. Due to the fast paced nature of the business, self-motivation and the ability to learn quickly are essential. Ideal candidate should be able to quickly understand the current application and be able to define procedures/methods. Must be able to efficiently and effectively interact with the business users, business analysts, and developers to translate needs into business requirements, technical requirements, and BI solutions including reports and models. Candidate should be able to work independently without supervision. Requirements : Must have an Investment Banking Background!! Minimum 6-10 years experience designing and developing BI solutions using Informatica. 3-4 years of Business Objects design and development of Universes and Reports. A good understanding of Informatica client tools. Must be able to develop and test ETL mappings independently using Informatica/Oracle. Experience in performance tuning on slowly performing data loads/ETLs, and experience in Shell scripting - Unix, Linux. Must possess a working knowledge, and experience with at least one job scheduler or Informatica job scheduler. Experience in Data Mapping and ETL architecture documentation. Experience in data analysis , data quality. Knowledge of performing audit on ETLs and validating source file data Vs target table loads. Candidate must have strong hold on writing complex queries using Oracle. Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills Oracle 10G.
