Anybody with recent Lead IMS/DB2 install experience?****

Clients wants to get a Lead Systems Programmer on board ASAP. Primary
responsibilities will be to install IMS and DB2 Systems, so recent
experience doing so is a must. This is not a DBA, or support role. ****

Location: Jersey City, NJ ****

A Lead DB2/IMS System Programmer performs work involving the understanding
of complex transactional support systems software which includes diagnosing
and solving problems associated with multi-LPAR and Parallel Sysplex
environments. Tasks include planning, installation, customization, testing
and administration of IMS, DB2 and program products that support these
environments.  This individual will:****

·         Install and support DB2 and IMS systems to meet business
requirements.****

·         Install and support Database related utilities and program
products.****

·         Interface with clients to determine system problems and provide
technical advice.****

·         Develop and maintain standards for DB2 and IMS administration and
exploitation.****

·         Support AXA Tech existing DB2 and IMS infrastructure.****

·         Perform  DB2 and IMS product planning to maintain currency and
exploit new features.****
