P&C Insurance industry experience is highly preferred* * Role Description *The Project Manager develops and manages project plans to ensure that deliverables are on track for assigned project(s), and provides regular status updates to program management The Project Manager shares ultimate accountability for the overall delivery of the assigned project(s) with Technical (or Business) Lead The Project Manager proactively identifies issues/risks and associated impact, and develops mitigation strategies to minimize impact and/or remove barriers The Project Manager provides formal direction to team members regarding scope, schedule, priorities and tasks The Project Manager provides regular status updates to the Program Management Office; works with PMO to ensure success within the Program context and align track activities with overall program plan *Responsibilities * · Provides project status information on a regular basis by tracking, monitoring and communicating progress against the project plan, requirements, quality measures, procedures and milestones · Creates and maintains all documents contained in the Project Management Plan · Reviews Statements of Work to ensure that the deliverables are meeting the agreed upon deliverables and quality expectations · Creates/Updates project plan, issues/risks log and project change requests to manage project-level scope, schedule and budget · Drafts and delivers communications materials as required · Provides staff performance feedback as required · Identifies, controls, and reports scope, schedule and/or budget impacts · Identifies and implements communication and change management strategies · Ensures that final deliverables meet the acceptance criteria as defined by the Program Leads · Ensures that adequate resources are applied to the project in order to meet schedule commitments and/or accomplish specific tasks · Establishes and manages key customer relationships to ensure that key decision makers are involved in the appropriate aspects of the project and to the appropriate degree · Escalates project issues to the Program Manager when appropriate · Guides and coaches project team members in the identification, development, and completion of project deliverables and provides input to team member performance evaluations · Integrates project activities with and across other projects and/or department as required · Delivers a quality project, on time and on budget * * *Required Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business; Master's degree preferred PMP Certification or similar work experience Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Expertise in project management methodology Knowledge and understanding of project management tools Knowledge and expertise of quality engineering and metrics engineering Understanding of the business enterprise and strategic goals Proven ability to manage teams and delegate authority Exceptional communication and negotiation skills including the ability to negotiate adequate resources (e.g., schedule, budget, staffing, tools, facilities, etc. Basic familiarity with the technology to be used on the program Critical thinking and decision making skills *P&C Insurance industry experience preferred* Warm Regards*,* * * *Deepak Mohan* *IDC Technologies | 1851 McCarthy Blvd. Suite 116, Milpitas, CA 95035 * *deepa...@idctechnologies.com* <deepa...@idctechnologies.com>* | **408-457-9399 ext 2052**| **www.idctechnologies.com* <http://www.idctechnologies.com>* *** * * *YM: dmstaffing31 | G Talk: dmstaffing * * * *(E-mail is the best way to reach me) *** * * *Disclaimer: * This message is for the named recipient(s) above and may contain confidential, proprietary or legally privileged information of IDC Technologies.
