an SAP Security Analyst. Primary responsibilities include supporting a large scale SAP implementation and interacting with ongoing production support and project related activities. The Security Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of SAP Security in R/3 (FI, CO, PS, TL, PY, MM, SRM, PI, GRC, Solution Manager and SAP Portal). Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge and skills to solve complex and unique problems. Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy. Responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of SAP security including and not limited to, assessing and mitigating risks, reviewing and approving SAP Security requests (tasks), SAP security architecture and design and activities associated with providing support to customers and SAP application support teams. Position is considered an authority on SAP Security in R/3 and all associated applications. Performs own work and provides assistance to others as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: * Strong technical knowledge of SAP security architecture and role based authorization models for SAP R/3, BW, Portals, PI, Solution Manager and GRC modules* Experience participating in successful global SAP Security implementations and SAP Security teams* Strong knowledge and understanding of business and business processes* Solid interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with customers* Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley, compliance and IT Controls* Team player and self-starter, ability to work effectively with minimal direction* Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills* Experience in managing user access to all SAP applications and ensure user access to SAP systems in a timely and accurate manner* Experience in design and maintenance of SAP security authorization objects and system settings to ensure integrity of the SAP User access security framework* Experience with implementation, administration and support of GRC Compliance Calibrator, Access Enforcer, and Fire Fight applications.* Ability to collaborate with SAP Applications and SAP Basis administration teams to design and implement technical security solutions for SAP and associated bolt-on applications* Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in an Information Technology discipline and 4+ years of security experience providing post go-live SAP support -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
