Philadelphia, PA Locals or NEAR By only, F2F Must Long term Work activities * On-going Oracle E-Business Production Support * Standard Requests * Code Migration * Configuration/Personalization * Concurrent Manager Configuration * Oracle E-Business Patching (DB Tier and Application Tier) * Performance trouble shooting and enhancement * System trouble shooting * User provisioning (DB and Apps Tier) * Standard Maintenance * Backup/Restore assurance (Verification of Backups - Ad hoc Backups) using Oracle RMAN and Commvault * Operating System Patching, * Oracle E-Business System Recycling * Cloning * SDLC environments refresh (planned and emergency) Skills/experience REQUIRED of the assigned staff: * 6 years of relevant work experience. * In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including WINDOWS, Linux and UNIX. * Experience with SDLC and Assurance processes. * Understanding of general IT architecture: network, firewalls, storage, web applications, ftp servers, application servers, etc. * Good written and oral communication skills. * Good technical architecture and technical support documentation skills. * Good interpersonal and consultative skills. * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. * Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. * College degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering. * Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (DBA or Apps).
