Ab Initio Developer Location: Washington, DC Length: 5-6 months w/option for additional time Overview: We are seeking an SR ETL Developer with Ab Inito to perform high complexity (i.e. application modules) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate will perform ongoing support of the existing applications and any new applications. Requirements: 1. Must have 5+ developing & deploying, creating high level and detailed ETL designs using Ab Initio GDE and basic component sets (i.e. Dataset, Database, Transform, Look-up, De-partition & Partition } including: a. Development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications b. EME and promotion. c. MetaHub (or experience with other Metadata systems) d. Business Rules Environment (BRE) 2. Must have prior exp assisting in gathering, identifying & clarifying reporting requirements inclusive of developing prototypes 4 Position 3 : Business objects developer Location : San Francisco, CA Local preferred as this may require an onsite in san francisco. Qualifications: 6+ years of Business Objects development experience, to include versions 3.1 and 4.0 2+ years of ETL experience preferably on Informatica. Very Strong SQL and PL/SQL expertise. Should be able to reverse engineer reporting objects to various schemas in Databases. Xcelcius and Business Objects Dashboard design and build experience Full development lifecycle experience (SDLC), to include requirements gathering with the business unit(s), developing the presentation layer. Develop and design WEBI and BO Universes. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on an individual basis up to large groups. Team player, with strong emphasis on knowledge sharing. Experience working with Oracle / Sql server data sources / Excel files as Sources. Experience with Energy / utility Projects is a Big Plus.
