Establishes and enforces data warehousing standards at the client site to meet client requirements and business needs. . Determines data warehousing strategy; selects techniques, including middleware, data cleansing tools, and/or data management systems to provide the solution to data and client issues and other matters of significance and to meet business needs. . Conducts research into new data warehouse applications and determines viability for adoption. Basic Qualifications . Bachelor's degree in data management, computer science, or related field preferred . Six or more years of experience in data management or computer programming . Six or more years of experience in Cognos 10 data solutions . Six or more years of experience in Framework manager, transformer, Query Studio, Reporting Studio, event Studio . Six or more years of SQL . Six or more years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, multi-dimensional cubes, and relational models as well as complex reports. . Two or more years of experience being able to map design documents and solutions that match the business requirements. . Perform lead role with other cognos Developers by following building and improving on development best practices . Collaborates with business users and works well within a large team .
