*QA Tester Sunrise, FL 12+ Months Contract F2F Required after Telephonic Interview.* *This individual will be responsible for:* Executing tests that validate application and system performance according to specification(s). This includes writing test plans and scripts, and tracking defects and corrections. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications. Demonstrates solid technical skills and may mentor team members. Follows the SDLC quality assurance standards and measures, and participates in the full SDLC as required. Applies advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to validate software development and information systems. Create and execute test plans and scripts that validate application performance according to specifications. Create automated test scripts where applicable. Periodically review quality assurance standards to ensure regulatory compliance. Ensure quality assurance standards embrace current technologies. Develop and execute tests that ensure applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues. Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT systems and projects across the organization. Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods. Make recommendations for improvement of applications through the appropriate communication channels. Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management the appropriate communication channels. Liaise with IT staff in assessing applications and/or systems under consideration for purchase. Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality. Analyze test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws. Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies. Participate in developing, distributing, and coordinating in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications. Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices. Required to exhibit a full understanding of work and effectively communicates to peers through verbal and written means. Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs. Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company. Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so. *Qualifications:* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience Testing Applications using technologies defined by the the company Proficient in a variety of testing methodologies Experience with Medical Billing and ERP Systems is desired. Experience in analyzing already deployed applications. Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of Privacy, Security Policies and Procedures for database access and electronic data interchange (EDI) compliance with data standards set out by Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and its associated rules Prior experience communicating with technical and business teams for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues. Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of Interdisciplinary teams. Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans. Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products. Highly self motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
