This individual is also responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure workflows, provisioning and maintenance is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. As a member of the Business Integration team, you will configure and test business workflows in the Development and QA system environments and prepare objects for promotion to the Production Environments. Job responsibilities include the review of software installations, configuration of services, adapters, and schedules, transaction data archiving, file system administration, backup and recovery, event and performance monitoring, troubleshooting, performance and capacity planning, and security configuration and reporting. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide level 1 support for the IBM-GIS and other custom applications. Provide exceptional and timely technical support and expertise for general troubleshooting and support of various systems workflow processing, data handling, storage and notifications of process failures. Support business database and application development teams throughout project lifecycles. Create, modify and update maps in IBM-GIS System. Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials for various systems. *Required Skills :* Development Related Experience: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Required - Minimum of 3 years IT experience. • Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience. • Knowledge of database concepts or database administration. • Knowledge of FTP, HTTP and TCP/IP protocols and database administration. • Ability to participate in system implementations, upgrades and/or migration efforts. • Ability to quickly learn new processes, and absorb and retain information. • Good interpersonal and oral communication skills. • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively. • Ability to work well with many different disciplines and cross functional teams.
