As a Lead Developer provide solution development direction as well as the hands-on development, unit testing, reviewing code others have written, and creating software maintenance plans.* *• Define software application activities related to the implementation, ongoing support, measurement, and continuous improvement of hosted infrastructure used to support clients. * *• Evaluate projects from a technical stance, guaranteeing that development methods used are correct, practical, and scalable.* *• Sign off on system requirements, identify technical resources and estimate timelines for portions of the application delivery.* *• Participate in the selection of outsourcing vendors or contract developers and management of vendor/contractor to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or development standards.* *• Coach contracted resources, review submitted code, ensure high quality is achieved, provide guidance and optimization where needed, and evaluate high-level design frameworks when provided.* *• Implement a structured, high-quality software release process leveraging iterative development methodologies.* *Qualifications:* *• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related subject required; Advanced degree desirable.* *• 5 to 7 years of direct experience in Software Design and Development; Software Architecture experience is a plus.* *• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering software products on a .NET solution stack including: .NET Framework 3.5 or greater, LINQ, SQL Server 2008, TSQL, Entity Framework 4.x, C#, MS IIS 7.x, ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>, MVC with Razor syntax, WCF, SOA, Web Services (REST & SVC), XML, Ajax, W3C Compliant HTML/CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JQuery UI, and KnockoutJS.* *• Knowledge and experience of UML version 2.0* *• Experience with automated configuration management/code management systems or application lifecycle management systems such as Microsoft Visual Studio ALM* *• Experience in data conversion.* *• Knowledge of performance tuning, technology scalability, capacity planning and security standards.* *• Knowledge of one or more of the following: Iterative SDLC, User-Centered Development, RUP, and Agile/SCRUM methodologies.* *• 2 years of mentoring experience.
