*Title:- Build Release Engg * *Location: Chapel Hill, NC* *Duration: 3-6 Months* *MOI: Phone + Skype* *Need only USC, GC, EAD GC* The Enterprise Reporting department has a Configuration Manager position available to support the implementation and maintenance of a PHP software system and a data warehouse environment. The department is seeking a person to help with the automation of releases, migration of code from various environments, and overall process improvement. This role reports to the Technical Lead and ultimately to the UNC Director for Reporting. This is for the implementation of software system called Infoporte, the data warehouse and reporting environment and includes providing the following services: - Analyze the existing environment and determine best practices that should be implemented to support Configuration Management - Automate existing processes to allow streamline of code migration - Automate processes to move database and code changes from various test environments and the production environment - Document processes and procedures associated with the work on the project - Meet milestones and related effort/time commitments for assigned deliverables and provide work status, including estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals - The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with strong attention to detail, and strong process improvement skills - Must be comfortable with multi-tasking and shifting gears while maintaining accuracy and timeliness in all tasks - The contractor is expected to work a 40 hour week Monday through Friday (8 Hours per day) or Monday through Thursday (10 hours per day).
