Locals Preferred* *Job Title: Web Methods Developer * *Location: Broadway, NY * *Duration: 4+ Months* *Locals Preferred* *Job description:* · Must have experience in tomcat, apache and other Middleware technologies. · Must have strong technical understanding of different application server configurations. · Must have experience in application server performance tuning. *Key Responsibilities:* · Performs Application Administration - system installs, patches, software installation, configuration, custom development, upgrades, and security of Middleware technologies · Understands disaster recovery plan requirements and performs solution testing. · Assists with architecture layout and design for ESB applications to ensure availability, reliability, and recoverability. · Administers Tomcat, Jboss and webMethods platforms . · Participates in specialized projects requiring technical research and/or vendor coordination. · Performs problem isolation, definition, resolution and follow-up for system, application, and customer issues. · Monitors system activity and recommends system parameter tuning for optimum performance. · Provides technical assistance to other members of the IT organization. · Takes direction from Management, Architecture, Engineering, and senior staff. · Adheres to established timelines, guidelines, and procedures while utilizing Company tools as required to deliver quality solutions that meet company and departmental standards. · Adheres to infrastructure policies, procedures and design documentation, and assists in their development and improvement. · Utilize strong analytical and technical skills. *REQUIREMENTS:* · Requires at least 7-10 years of experience and with a strong understanding of webMethods Integration Server, Broker, My WebMethods Server, Reverse HTTP Gateway, SSL Certificates, ,Process Engine, Task Engine, JMS Broker, JDBC Adapter, CentraSite, Mediator. · Requires an understanding of the basic networking , unix/Linux and security technologies.
