*Role : Mobile device architect* *Location :* Richardson TX *Duration :* Long Term contract *Description:* The Architect/Lead candidate in this role will be responsible for Wearable/IoT software architecture spanning firmware, mobile apps, and web services, Oversees technical architecture, system and software design, and system engineering. The Software Architect is responsible for ensuring that the software solution is architected and designed to meet functional and non-functional requirements, and is scalable and extensible as a base platform and product instantiations. The Software architect assists in refining technical requirements and delivers to development teams an implementable solution and assists with technical reviews of the features and functions within a given product. Provides technical oversight of software development, end-to-end eco-system integration, and assists with implementation details where required *Day to day responsibilities will include:* - Define a robust software architecture wearable and IoT solutions, leveraging and enhancing existing building blocks or creating new reusable components - Lead the future architecture planning and roadmap for 3~5 years vision for firmware, mobile application, and web services software platforms, identify the key architecture and technology trends, gaps, and provide evolution proposals - Scale up custom API’s and supporting both iOS and Android devices - Be nimble and decisive in adjusting product architecture as customer requirements, market conditions and technology evolve. - Engage with customers to understand customer requirements and to provide thought leadership - Provide technical leadership and oversight of development team(s), including internal teams and external vendors and design agencies - Engage with external and internal vendors and partners to assess technology leverage and capabilities - Work with the development team to translate the software architecture into design - Actively participate in the development process, as needed - Work closely with product management, engineering, quality assurance, sales and professional services teams throughout the organization. *To qualify candidates must have:* - 7+ years mobile device application development and at least 3 years in a lead/architecture level role. - Expert competency on both iOS and Android platforms - High preference for any IoT and/or wearable technology development experience - Intimate understanding of Server Architecture and RESTful systems - Experience with Agile Development and Version Control Systems - Passion for best practices and design patterns - Comfortable in collaborative environments Regards Manisha IT RECRUITER 214-884-5316 RPO SERVICES -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
