Please see the job description below and let me know if you have any suitable profiles with you. *Job Title: JAVA Principal Engineer* *Term: 6 months* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA* *Requirement:* *Responsibilities Include:* Design/Architect/Develop business eCommerce and mobile applications, developing user experience solutions on emerging platforms, utilizing object oriented design, REST API's, HTML5, and Java, C/C++ Must have strong Java programming experience with a solid understanding of modern object oriented programming techniques and design patterns, including (Servlets, JSPs, JDBC, JTA, JMS, XML, Web services) Responsible for software architecture, design, and development, including determination of current limitations and compatibilities between subsystems, selection of new concepts and methodology, and development of major routines and utilities. Responsible for creating and writing functional specifications, designs, unit tests, and helping review and test teammates' code Provide technical leadership in evaluating, understanding and integrating varied software solutions with a focus on APIs, UI Frameworks and services used outside individual components Preparation of technical requirements, software design specifications and other forms of architectural documentation Familiar with Agile development methodology and committed to continual improvement of application and team performance Work with Product Management, Sales Ops, Finance and Product Marketing, to understand design and feature tradeoffs Design scalable and repeatable solutions within each major feature release Present architectural recommendations to the Architecture Review and Security Board Provide project leadership including organizing overall projects, establishing timelines, breaking down and assigning tasks Good communicator and team player, able to both learn from and mentor teammates *Educational requirements:* BS or MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience *Minimum Requirements:* 8-10 years of development experience with Java, C++ (multi-thread coding) on highly scalable web/server products. Rich development experience with Java and knowledge of frameworks such as Hibernate and Spring Must be skilled in SQL, including query optimization, preferably with experience in Oracle and Oracle PL/SQL Strong experience and understanding of implementing networking protocols in Java specifically on sockets, TCP/IP and UDP Extensive experience in REST and SOAP web services Experience developing on multiple platforms such as Linux/Solaris and Windows.
