Programmer Location: Colombia Duration: 12 months Job Description: - Position will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of standards, naming conventions, and ongoing deployment of a multi-data center DB2 and ADABAS environment, including disaster recovery and high availability projects. - Must have extensive experience with the installation, support, and roll-out of DB2 and ADABAS components, BMC Tools and Utilities, Natural, Predict, ADAPREP and related products. - Must have complete familiarity with z/OS, TSO/ISPF and IBM utilities and SMP/E.. Position will provide technical support to application and data center staffs. Additional desired skills are Oracle, SQL, z/VM, z/LInux and MVS systems. Behavior Characteristics: - · Must have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Position will require project leadership in support of data center projects and strategic initiatives. Required Skills: - Mainframe DB2 V9 (or higher) Installation experience - Mainframe DB2 Systems Support experience - Experience with z/OS, IBM Utilities, TSO/ISPF/Clist/REXX - BMC & ISV Tools & Utilities Install & Exp. - ADABAS, ADABAS Delta Save Facility, ADABAS Online System, Natural and Natural Security - SMP/E Installation experience Desired Skills: - DB2 DBA Experience - DB2 Capacity Planning & Perf.
