L2 Security Analyst

TIR division is currently looking for an L2 Security Analyst with a
background in process improvement of security products owned and supported
by the IT Security team. The prospective candidate will assist with
facilitating the onboarding of Blue Coat Proxy product line for operational
support including process improvement, change management, integration,
documentation and training as well as providing L2 technical support.



*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*



- Review/improve workflow process for operational support

- Work with external teams to ensure a smooth transition of *Blue Coat
proxy support to SOC*

- Review internal & end user documentation for accuracy and conformity with
pre-defined layout

- Ensure that Service Request forms accurately capture requirements

- Provide *Level 2* technical and non-technical support to junior SOC
members

- Assist with executing process improvement initiatives affecting multiple
stakeholders

- Report and communicate the results from process improvement efforts to
management

- Work as a facilitator between the various internal organizations to
ensure product policy and processes are negotiated, documented, and
executed accurately

- Prepare detailed plans to track project performance and assure timely
completion and achievement of project deliverables

- Utilize various process improvement tools and methodologies to define
activities that are aligned with the project's objectives

- Assist with delivering significant operational improvement

- Monitor performance and improvement in key metrics

- Make significant contributions to managing the life cycle of relevant
security products and services

- Create and maintain proper documentation



*Required Skills:*



- At least 3 years of work experience directly related to process
improvement.

- 2 years of work experience with *Blue Coat proxy technologies*

- Some experience on teams implementing new processes and tools

- Ability to read and create operational documents such as process maps,
project plans, project and training presentations, and procedure manuals.

- Knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and
thorough documentation

- Ability to explain changes and create an environment that will lead to
buy-in from relevant stakeholders

- Detail oriented

- Capable of dealing with resistance to change

- Respect for confidentiality practices

- Bachelor’s degree. Major in engineering, information technology, or
business preferred but not required.

- ITIL Certification & CAPM a plus

- Security Product certification a plus
