*Role: **Websphere Commerce Administrator *
*Location*: *Nashville, TN*
*Duration: 6+ Months*

Position Description:

• Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of
eCommerce systems. This position requires strong knowledge in WebSphere
Commerce, IBM HTTP Server and Solr administration.
• Performs installation, administration, configuration, and tuning of
software applications (30%)
• Creates and maintains build and deployment processes, scripts, and jobs
(10%)
• Performs maintenance, monitoring of software systems, including capacity
planning, operational services, and other administrative efforts (10%)
• Plans and implements enhancements, upgrades, and patches (10%)
• Participates in 24x7 on call rotations. (25%)
• Designs and implements redundant systems, policies, and procedures for
disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and
integrity of data assets. (5%)
• Participates in the execution of testing as part of the Quality Assurance
process. (5%)
• Documents processes and procedures. (5%)

Essential Skills Required:
• ***Certified IBM WebSphere Commerce Administrator****
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
*• 5 years of Retail experience*
• 3*+ years of experience administering WebSphere Commerce Suite*
*• Experience setting up and supporting IBM WebSphere Application Servers
in clustered environments*
•

*Experience with SDLC and Agile methodology • Strong technical knowledge of
IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server and SOLR. *• Proven
ability to install WebSphere Commerce APARs, Fix Packs and Feature Packs.
• Configure IBM WebSphere WCBD build & deployment tool for Commerce
applications
• Experience with installation and configuration of IBM DB2 for WebSphere
Commerce
• Setting up and maintaining non-production and production environments for
Websphere Commerce
• Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to analyze java cores, system
dumps, heaps dumps and logs to determine root cause of issues
• Experience with IBM Sterling OMS administration would be a plus
• Proven ability to create or *modify Linux shell scripts*.
• Familiarity with Cloud based offerings
• Working knowledge of *Disaster Recovery activities*
• Proven understanding of security and administration best practices

Non Essential Skills:

• Highly self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, and manage
workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with
minimal direction.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and
to work with a distributed team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Recent experience with large ecommerce projects is a plus
