*Job Title* .NET DEVELOPER *Project Location* Livermore, CA *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI: PHONE+FACE2FACE* *Other requirements:* · This role is maintenance and making changes to existing,* not new development* · Healthcare/Medicare, billing/auditing side of business · Needs the ability to be given the tasks, understand them and complete the tasks in a timely manner · Level of experience is important · Local candidates only Senior Developer skilled Visual Basics 6.0/.Net Developer responsible for building and maintaining internal and external modules. •Will work on complex applications using one or more of the following: Visual Basic 6.0, VB.Net, C++, Embedded Structured Query Language (ESQL) on a UNIX and/or Microsoft Windows, WCF, SQL under UNIX and Windows, 3-tier Architecture, Informix and SQL Server 2008/2012, ASP, .Net 2.0/4.0, COM/COM+. •Assist with product design, systems analysis and programming activities, which may require some research. •Perform bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. •Assist with product design activities that may require some research and analysis. •Perform design, implementation and maintenance of relatively simpler to complex modules. Subsystems. •Participate in product design meetings. •Document design in functional specification document. •Develop and document unit test plan. •Perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products. •Research problem / issues discovered by QA, Tech Support, Help Desk, End-Users and develop solutions to the problem / issues. •Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality and performance. •Able to architect simple projects: Design and implementation in order to meet project objectives. •Learn new technology and develop tools to remain abreast of current technology. •Additional responsibilities may be assigned, as required, by management. •Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned. Required Skills and Knowledge: •Expert in best practices, processes, and tools required to develop enterprise-level .NET-based applications •Strong leadership and mentorship skills •Experience with conducting requirements, design and code reviews •Experience with estimating software development accurately using various industry methods (Function Point, Wideband Delphi, etc.) •Proficiency in Database concepts, experience with SQL Server 2008/2012 •Hands-on experience with Microsoft Technologies (WCF, MSMQ, nHibernate and MVC) •Hands-on experience implementing Web Services (SOAP and RESTful) •Strong understanding of QA and Release Management process •Strong understanding of various SDLC methodologies •Excellent SQL skills •Experience with Informix and related tools •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a global team environment •Practical application debugging and troubleshooting skills •Demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time, with high quality, and within budget •Excellent multitasking and time management skills with consistent attention to detail •Strong analytical and problem solving skills •A team player who enjoys collaborating with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels of the business •General technical knowledge of development methodologies, design and implementation. •Excellent analytical skills. •Thorough understanding of research and analysis, project planning and implementation. •Good understanding of entire development process, including specifications, documentations and quality assurance.
