The ideal candidate will have deep and practical experience with front end UI development for web-based applications as well as Mobile apps (web-based, hybrid or native). The candidate will also have solid experience with business logic software at the middle tier level using .Net frameworks and languages. This software engineer plays a key role in the development of new and creative solutions using HTML5/CSS3, Javascript frameworks, .Net and is well grounded on design and implementation best practices including design patterns and, last but not least, be a great team player that fits naturally in a fast paced small development team utilizing cutting edge Agile and Lean methodologies. Job Duties ?Transform user story and other requirements specifications into solid designs at the front end UI and back end server-side tiers ?Collaborate with team mates, the VP of Development, the Product Manager, the UI Designer, the QA lead, throughout Sprints to identify and estimate tasks, design and implement iteratively great user experiences, address bugs, quickly shift focus to priorities and meet the committed milestones ?Participate in code reviews and other process activities ?Defend and utilize best practices even under pressure and fast development pace ?Learn and adapt to job specific duties as needed ?Implement software for web-based applications as well as Mobile utilizing best practices around hybrid and/or native. ?Conceptualize novel ideas to produce intuitive user experiences from front to back end ?Produce highly efficient software implementations based on clean design principles around patters and common frameworks ?Use HTML5/CSS3 and Javascriptlibraries and frameworks (jQuery, Backbone/Angular other) along with Phonegap (or other) to develop state of the art products for various market segments ?Take active role in continuous improvements to development process, design conventions and technology adoption ?Act as a team player to develop new creative solutions *Education, Experience and Skills* •Four years or more of proven front end web-based UI and server-side development experience with HTML5/CSS3/Javascript libraries frameworks and .Net (C#) •Strong experience with design patterns affecting front as well as back end development •Experience with MS Visual Studio •2 or more years working in an Agile/Lean iterative development process •Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Team Foundation Server, Icescrumor other tool is preferred •Strong experience implementing intuitive and easy to use user interfaces in web-based and/or Mobile settings •Good experience with responsive design principles and other modern methodologies •1 or more years experience with a Javascript framework *such as Backbone, Angular JS* or equivalent, and solid experience *with jQuery* •Strong experience with implementing efficient data access code using efficient SQL code, preferably using frameworks •Capacity to take constructive feedback to improve •Goes beyond the letter of direction and tasks and goes the extra mile to produce best of breed code and user experiences.
