*Business Analyst* *Brookings, SD* *8+ Months Contract* *!!! LOCAL'S ONLY !!!* *Job Description:* Seeking a LOCAL IT Analyst for the US Distributed IT Group, supporting the Brookings, SD plant. *Job Summary:* The person hired for the position of IT Analyst will provide business analysis, project management, and software validation for specific projects supporting the Brookings manufacturing operations. Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Provide analysis and guidance on software requirements, from properly documenting the actual requirements, developing testing plans, and managing the testing process and identifying defects, and tracing testing results back to requirements. Partner with the business project champions to identify true software requirements, set deadlines, and prevent scope creep. Partner with the overall project team to ensure that non-IT project activities are in sync with IT project milestones. Develop and maintain an understanding of the business processes that are supported by the internal and corporate IT systems. Troubleshoot technical and data related issues. Properly validate and thoroughly document the technology changes, and ensure the validation evidence is sufficient and will support an FDA regulated environment. *Basic Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university Minimum of three (3) years of IT business analysis or project management experience *Preferred Qualifications:* 2 or more years of experience with any of the following applications and technologies: Business analysis or project management in a project using MS Visual Studio Loftware or corporate packaging-labeling solutions Business analysis or project management in a manufacturing facility Knowledge of software development in an FDA regulated facility. Basic knowledge of programming languages, especially C#. Proficiency with MS SQL Server and SQL Server Tools. Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies. Experience with documenting requirements, and developing and executing testing plans to meet requirements. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, problem solving, and project planning skills are a must. Self-motivated individual who communicates and influences with credibility and confidence; strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to balance business needs, yet juggle conflicting priorities when it comes to IT sponsored projects or initiatives. PMP Certification.
