The requisite skill sets and a deep knowledge base is required to work in a technical environment to execute the required tasks, and ultimately deliver high-quality, high-business-valued software rapidly through the use of sound Agile practices. Candidates must be capable of carrying heavy developer loads independently. Candidates may also be required to solve complex client requirements by recommending appropriate architectural or design solutions. They will be responsible for discrete automation functions such as build, continuous integration and software configuration management tools. They will automate the coordination of custom defined DevOps process and the automation tools and task carried out in that process. Must make sure that the Agile Application Development team is using best practices, and Test Driven Development (TDD) / Acceptance-Test Driven Development (A-TDD). They must be comfortable supporting SCM & Release Mgt including Source Control, Continuous Integration, Artifact Management and Change Management. They will be responsible for supporting the developers with change requests, uptime, performace, build and deployment related issues, and ensure seamless deployment of software. ** Project is within OESAE Office of Enterprise Support Architecture and Engineering. They are responsible for implementing a Modern Development Environment for SSA’s Agile Projects. They will need to establish and maintain an infrastructure which provides the Agile Tool Suite that supports the development, validation and deployment of SSAs applications to the Production environment.
