*Job Title* Senior Back-end SQL Tester *Project Location* Chicago, IL *Duration* 12 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI:TELE+IN-PERSON* * RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Create test scripts based on knowledge of product functionality and interactions with development group, executing test scripts, and troubleshooting production issues. - Develop/ execute/maintain test scripts. - Document and report of test results. - Act as liaison between business and QA testing groups. - Perform functional, regression and usability testing as well as components and system test cases using test data. - Design, develop and implement templates for test case documents, production defect management and test summary reports. - Design, develop and implement testing of various batch processes, web services, GUI, data upload processes and end to end defect management for software. - May be assigned to various projects utilizing skills. REQUIREMENTS - Required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field - Required 5+ years of experience in the job offered or related QA Analyst or Tech Analyst position. - *Advanced experience testing within a C#.net / Windows OS / IIS Web Server environment* - Expert SQL syntax and relational database concepts, including writing SQL queries and understanding database tables and structures - The ability to create and implement complex test plans, cases and scripts; - *Strong knowledge of .Net –based SOAP, WSDL and XML Web Services* - Prior financial experience required. - Quality Assurance testing experience in equities, options and futures trading platforms a plus.
