*:: NY-New York/Albany Duration::: 6+ monthsMOI::: Phone then face to face* *Job Description::IBM MDM/IIS SME-*Candidate must have in depth knowledge with IBM MDM/IIS application architecture, infrastructure, and installation and configuration of the core components, including IBM WebSphere Servers and High Availability, MDM Server, IIS Server, DataStage/QualityStage, Information Analyzer, RAS/RAD, and Oracle database. -Must be able to administer and maintain the IBM MDM/IIS servers and their components. -Experience with MDM and IIS upgrade (v8.0.1 to v11.4) and a DataStage/QualityStage and IBM Information Analyzer from v8.0.1 to v9.1.2 – and re-platform from Solaris to RHEL with a complete SDLC process. They are Solaris currently and replatforming to Linux. * Responsibilities: *• Participate in and coordinate the efforts on the technical architecture (infrastructure) design with consideration of capacity, performance, and high availability for the system upgrade and re-platform. Create and update technical design specifications. • Participate in and participate in the development work including, but not limited to, the installation and configuration of the system components, developing/updating scripts, deploying custom code on the new platform, and building the technical environments for the SDLC phases, including Development, Testing, Staging, and Production technical environments. • Work with the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) to resolve technical issues on networking, databases, and virtual servers. • Work with the project team to open PMR's with IBM, SR's with Oracle and assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems related to the system upgrade and re-platform. • Prepare technical documentation for the upgrade and re-platform, including, but not limited to, Installation and Configuration Guide, Testing and Validation Plan, Runbook and Troubleshooting Guide. • Communicate with Management on status of the upgrade and re-platform development efforts. •Administering and maintaining Linux OS servers, including executing/writing scripts for day-to-day functions. •Administering and maintaining WebSphere Application Servers from v6 to v8.5. •Shell Scripting experience required. •Must have the ability to investigate, follow-up with the product vendor and DoITT to resolve issues. •Understanding of virtualized (VMWare), distributed architecture with High Availability. •Demonstrated working experience in creating technical specification and technical support/operation documentation. *The current system components are as follows:*•IBM MDM Server, to be upgraded from v8.0.1 to v11.5 or later •IBM InfoSphere Server (IIS) - DataStage/QualityStage and Information Analyzer, to be upgraded from v8.0.1 to v11.5 or later •WebSphere 8.5 Application Server •RAS/RAD (Rational Application Developer) v9.1 •RHEL 6 over VMware, as the new server platform (from Solaris) •Oracle Database 11gR2. *Regards, Rashmi Singh(Technical Resource Specialist)Ramy Infotech IncPhone: 408-317-9256 Ext-334 Fax : 408-273-6834Email: rashmi.si...@ramyinfotech.com <rashmi.si...@ramyinfotech.com>Note: We are working with prime vendor (One Layer between) for this position. * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
