Face-to-Face Interview* *Role: JavaScript/ UI Engineer* *Location: Bellevue, WA* *Duration: 6+ months contract* *Start Date: ASAP* *Must pass a background/drug screen* *------------------------------------------* My Client is seeking an experienced JavaScript/UI Engineer to join their team in a long-term contract capacity. This person will be responsible for developing UI components for public-facing web applications using hand-coded JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, and AJAX. You will also be leveraging MVC JavaScript (i.e. Backbone, Handlebar, Mustache) for developing dynamic UI components. Successful candidates must pass a background/drug screen, and be able to work onsite at our client's Bellevue facilities. *Key Responsibilities:* - Design, develop and ship features that help understand client’s customers’ behavior on client’s global web sites - Develop and support data driven product decisions in a high energy high-impact team - Contribute to the sophisticated web application with advanced UI technologies - Evangelize front-end development standards to other areas of the product development group - Provide technical leadership to the more junior members of the team - Help the team adopt technologies and processes that improve team productivity - Work in an agile environment to ship next generation features while meeting client’s demanding technology needs - Work collaboratively with other teams to develop robust and scalable features *Required qualifications:* - 5+ years developing large scale, production quality code in a professional software developer role - Self-starter and quick learner who possesses exceptional attitude and aptitude - 3+ years experience in Web page development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery), AJAX - Familiarity with software development patterns for JavaScript - Strong software object oriented design skills and experience with proven design and architecture patterns - Knowledge of other OO languages like Java, C++ - Strong problem solving skills to efficiently implement projects with difficult requirements - Experience designing and optimizing code for robustness, scalability and performance. - Experience developing customer facing web applications - Ability to clearly document and communicate software architecture and design - Ability to consume specifications, give feedback, provide estimates and translate into implementation - Ability to work collaboratively with team members *Preferred, but not required:* - Knowledge of various JavaScript libraries (Handlebar/Mustache, LESS, Backbone JS, Require JS) - Experience with Tomcat and/or Spring frameworks - Knowledge of analytics tools used for optimizing web sites - Good knowledge of XML, XSD and API development - Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL - BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline *Best Regards,* Sai.J Recruiter Max Eleven Staffing 5813 Fox Run Drive, Plainsboro, NJ -08536 E-mail: s...@maxeleven.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
