Manages projects of medium to large size and complexity within the Business Intelligence Program portfolio. The primary focus of the Project Manager is the delivery of benefits by leading project team towards achieving predetermined goals and results in alignment with the company's stated strategy. Manages Change Management and allocated business project resources. This role will also be responsible for design and implementation of the BI Tools and architecture to support next generation data warehouse. Provides project management expertise and leads key project work streams, working with the full project life cycle, following project Governance processes within agreed timescales to Time, Cost and Quality. *Primary Responsibilities:* -Creates and fosters a climate of adding value in delivering projects by striving for excellence and contributing to the overall development of Change Management. -Scope, plan and manage projects through the entire life cycle, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality -Ensure that the solution is capable of enabling the business to achieve benefit realization as well as demonstrating understanding of the organizational impact of change -Responsible for accurate and timely reporting against the project plan and budget in line with agreed Program governance -Ensure each project adheres to the governance required by PMO. -Perform and/or supervise the acquisition and analysis of data to identify business problems and opportunities -Identify, evaluate and ensure appropriate mitigating actions and plans are in place for all project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, escalating to Senior Manager Business Analytics and Architecture with suggested mitigating actions for implementation -Build and Manage relationships with project stakeholders up to a senior level to understand the context and impact of the project to the business line and ensure all stakeholders views are managed towards the best solution for all business areas impacted -Promotion of an environment of continuous improvement ensuring a QA process is applied through the project lifecycle -Management of project resources, coaching and training and development while on project -Maintain and develop knowledge of project methodologies and a professional network of contacts, sharing knowledge and best practice where appropriate to support continuous improvement -Establish and build relationships across organization to facilitate achievement of strategic goals maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle -Collaboration with others on Program team, identifying internal / external resources required to deliver the project -Ensure projects meet internal and external customer requirements Business Management & Planning: -Create, implement, and delivery of operational plans aligned with the business plans and targets -Contribute ideas, innovations and insights based on operational and customer needs to the overall business plan, to ensure the right objectives and focus is set in that plan Process/Continuous Improvement: -To initiate and support process improvement activity and help to embed a culture of continuous improvement -To facilitate change through projects Customer Service: -To champion strong customer service attitudes and values Risk Management: -Identify and manage the risk, minimizing the outcome and escalating where appropriate -Ensure processes operate as designed -Key indicators in place to ensure reliable, predictable and stable environment Stakeholder Management: -Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peer-level stakeholders across the business so that these contribute both to the effective operation of the business unit as well as the development of the unit business plan Managing Change: -Proactively identify opportunities for change which will add value to the achievement of business objectives and enhance the customer experience -Ensure robust structures are in place to deliver, monitor and review change initiatives Team Leadership: -Develop, plan, and implement activities that will enable a highly motivated and highly performing team to deliver team objectives -Fostering an environment of cooperation and change Qualifications: -Five or more (5+) years of experience in Information Technology or business related roles with increasing levels of responsibility, with at least -Two (2) years leading or managing business intelligence projects is preferred -Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Waterfall and/or Agile project methodologies required -Experience with SAP Business objects / Cognos BI Tools would be a big plus. -Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite specifically Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint required -B.A. Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or equivalent required -Experience leading or managing others preferred -Experience with Agile Methodology including Scrum methodology -Certified Scrum Master Training would be a big plus -Flexibility to work on a variety of projects and teams within Business Change Management Preferably with experience working on Business Intelligence / Datwarehouse projects. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
