*Job Description::  *• This role encompasses the analysis, design, and
operational support related to the interfaces between client's internal
systems
  – including ERPs (SAP/PI, JDE), BI, and Ecommerce – as well as with
external partners (Customers, Vendors, 3PLs, other Service Providers).
• This involves working closely with the EDI and Web Service Development
Leads and other technical resources, as well as client's Sales and other
business partners, to develop custom integration solutions to meet business
and operational needs.
• This role will have the primary responsibility of collecting the
requirements for these solutions along with assisting in their design.
• Finally, this role is also responsible for testing, documentation, and
support as appropriate or required.
• The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to:
• Collect business requirements and create functional specifications for
Integration solutions.
• Create field-level data mappings for EDI and Web Service interfaces.
• Partner with Development Leads to draft and validate macro Integration
designs and review micro designs.
• Create SIT plan/scenarios and provide consultation for Unit, QA, and UAT
activities.
• Assist in executing SIT and QA scenarios as required.
• Coordinate Volume and High Availability Testing as required.
• Act as the single point of contact for assigning and triaging defects
during integration test cycles.
• Participate in deployment and release planning activities. Though not a
primary responsibility, some deployment activities may be assigned as
required.
• Create interface support documentation (system maps, functional
descriptions, trouble shooting guides, user manuals, etc.).
• Support the various interfaces developed as part of the solution. Some
off-hours support required including weekends and holidays, rotational
on-call.
• The accomplished individual will possess:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related
study, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of functional analysis and technical design experience in the
EDI space, including X12, EDIFACT, and RosettaNet
• 1+ years of design experience in a client/server or service-oriented
architecture (SOA) environment
• 1+ years in the IT Products Distribution or Retail industries

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of corporate IT policies, procedures and standards


*Hard Skills:*• Full understanding of EDI documents and standards used at
client:
• X12 832, 846, 850, 855, 860, 856, 810, etc.
• EDIFACT PRICAT, INVRPT, ORDERS, DESADV, INVOIC, etc.
• RosettaNet 2A1, 3A4, 3A6, 3A7, 3C3, etc.
• Strong understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and/or
client/server systems
• Experience with Microsoft BizTalk platform and related integration tools
• Experience with SAP/PI and JDE (Compass) development, test, and
deployment practices
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
(WCF, SQL, Oracle)
• Broad experience with Supply Chain systems and solutions
• Programming (.NET, Java, etc.) experience a plus
