*Job Description:* - Strong hands-on application support with ITSM Remedy 8.1 (or higher) administration, CMDB, Asset Mgmt, Incident Management, etc. Hands-on experience with Oracle 10g/11g SQL query performance optimization, Pl/SQLL and UNIX. - Provide operational support to business unit users of the ITSM Remedy application. In depth knowledge of Remedy version 8.1 (or above) including the ITSM Application Suite. - Hands on experience both developing and administering the ITSM Suite version 7.6 or above. - Ability to design and create custom applications based on Remedy architecture. - Experience with Crystal Reports software. - Ability to provide accurate completion times for assigned tasks. - Experience with Business Objects reporting software. - Ability to troubleshoot Remedy workflow. - Knowledge of the Incident Management system including configuration and development. - Knowledge of the Change Management system including configuration and development. - Ability to participate as a member of a project team. - In depth knowledge of ITSM Foundation Data and its relationship to the individual ITSM modules. - Experience with configuring, entering, and updating Remedy Foundation data to be used in all ITSM modules. - Ability to support customer issues in a timely manner. - Be able to follow standard operational and documented change procedures. - Strong communications skills. - Ability to create cohesive and comprehensive customization documentation in accordance with a provided format. - Strong unit and acceptance testing skills. - Knowledge of Remedy licensing. - Performs complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering. - Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis. - Develops documentation on new or existing systems. - Develops and directs tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements. - Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems. - Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance. - Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. - Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers and may have supervisory responsibilities. - Serves as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met. - Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. - Participates in special projects as required. *Education:* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. 8-10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis is preferred but not required. *Qualifications:* - 8-10 years of related systems engineering experience. - 2-5 years+ experience administering Remedy v7+ AR - Action Request Service Management tool including Help Desk Incident, Change Management (CMDB) - Knowledge of, and experience with, Remedy version 8.0 or 8.1 preferred - Experience with doing Remedy migrations and upgrades preferred - Experience with Remedy Web Services - Knowledge of Remedy Problem Management - Experience with the Remedy Configuration Management Database (CMDB). - Designing the CMDB - Building the links within the CMDB - Experience in training licensed users in the usage of the Remedy ITSM Suite. - Experience integrating Remedy with other products either directly or through the API. - Knowledge of Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping tool. - Experience building reports with Crystal Reports software - Experience building reports using Business Object using Webi Regards, Upendra Nath (Deputy Resource Manager) *RAMY Infotech Inc.* .........consulting redefined *5201 Great America Parkway Suite 320, Santa Clara* Phone : 408-317-9256 x 311 Fax : 408-273-6834 Email : upendra.n...@ramyinfotech.com URL : www.ramyinfotech.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
