*ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*



• Independent worker capable of supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving
production database issues.

• Installing, configuring, and upgrading MSSQL Server.

• Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and
troubleshooting tools.

• Backup and recovery.

• Database Encryption.

• Creating and maintaining SSIS packages specifically related to data
warehousing.

• Database reporting using third party tools and/or Microsoft BI.

• Working with VMWare virtual environment.



*EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS*



• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

• 3-5 years of SQL Server Database experience

• Experience as a database administrator working with SQL Server 2008 or
later.

• Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining SSIS packages for Data
Warehousing.

• Experience with Jitterbit Harmony data integration application a plus.

• Database experience with Oracle and MySql highly preferred.

• Independent worker capable of evaluating and resolving database issues.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of
Microsoft BI solution is a plus.

• Experience in the MS SQL Business Intelligence Stack (SSIS, SSAS and
SSRS) is a plus.
