I don't know about that autodetection of ethernet card stuff. One night, shortly after I lost my Bible in an accident with the installer, I had to go to a friend's house to re-download it.
That night, I wasted about 2 hours trying to get onto a high-speed connection that should not have required this kind of time wasting. Another friend had to tell me how to do the appropriate setup. Granted, this was with this laptop, the only computer I have right now, with a pcmcia ethernet card, and I have never used Oralux with a fast connection like that with a computer containing an internal card.
