Ok, the idea of putting the pictures on the computer is one thing, and
the idea of looking at them is another entirely.  

First of all, you need the digital camera connected to the usb port of
the machine.  At this point, all the information inside should show up
on /dev/sdawhatever.  This could be sda1 or sdb1 or whatever.  Now,
the idea of putting the information onto the computer's hard drive is
no more than a cp or an mv command.  

However, I know of no tool suitable for use in Oralux that will allow
you to look at the pictures.  

A card reader should be the same thing.  Just hook it up, either
internally or externally, and, as I understand it, or as I would have
implemented it, the files should show up as though they are on another
drive such as /dev/sda1 or whatever. 

I have never done this, but I can see it working in this manner.  Just
try it and let me know if it will work and we will proceed to looking
into it more in-depth if it does not.
