What you need to do is to look for oralux-installer by using locate as follows.
locate oralux-installer This will tell you where the regular script is. What he meant by path/to/your/oralux/installer.patch was this. Where did you put the patch when you downloaded it? This is where patch needs to look for the file in order to patch in the code to the installer. He said cd to /usr/share, so that's presumably where the installer script is.
